Jacqueline Samuel

Jacqueline Samuel, a STEM Science Curriculum Coordinator for Dallas Independent School District (Dallas ISD), supports science curriculum and instruction for the district’s 227 schools. In addition, Jacqueline coordinates the district’s Science Fair Competition and Earth Day festivities. Prior to her tenure at Dallas ISD, Jacqueline began her career in education as an International Baccalaureate Middle Years Program Science Teacher and a Science Instructional Coach. As an educator, she has studied conservation efforts in Ireland, served as an fellow for the Teachers for Global Classrooms, and helped develop instructional strategies for teachers in Jakarta and Ogan Ilir, Indonesia.

Jacqueline graduated from Tougaloo College with a Bachelors of Science degree in Biology. She completed graduate studies in Molecular Biology and Genetics from Jackson State University and received her Masters of Arts in Secondary Education from Belhaven University. She is a doctoral candidate of Science Education at The University of Southern Mississippi with an emphasis in Biology Education. Jacqueline is a native of Jackson, Mississippi and has one son, Jaxson.
