Meet the Judge:

Christine Tucci Osorio

Superintendent

Ms. Osorio is the Superintendent of School District 622: North St. Paul – Maplewood – Oakdale in MN. She began her educational career in the Peace Corps, as a teacher-trainer in the island country of Kiribati. Subsequently, she worked for Saint Paul Public Schools for 19 years, where she served an assistant principal and principal developing ESL and language immersion programming. As a district leader with SPPS, she held the roles Assistant Superintendent and Chief Academic Officer. She has been the Superintendent of District 622 (North Saint Paul – Maplewood – Oakdale) since 2015.

Ms. Osorio holds BA’s in Spanish, ESL, and Elementary Education from the University of Minnesota Duluth. She also holds a Master’s Degree in Curriculum and Instruction and is currently a PhD student at the University of Minnesota.

Christine serves on the Executive Board of the Association of Metro Area School Districts (AMSD) and serves as a board member for the Search Institute. She is dedicated to sharing leadership experiences with others and has worked with the American Association of School Administrators (AASA) to mentor and coach fellow school superintendents in Puerto Rico.
