Casey Rimmer, M.Ed.
Innovation & EdTech Coordinator
Casey is a forward thinking educator that has been a classroom teacher, instructional technology facilitator and technology, edtech and innovation leader in Union County Public Schools for eleven years.Passionate about technology and the ways that it can transform teaching and learning, Casey has led district leadership and school staff to capitalize on technology in countless ways.She spends a great deal of time strategically reviewing, planning, implementing and analyzing digital resource applications and their impact on student achievement. Casey works diligently to lead the district and the state in student data privacy best practices and keeping students safe online.When EdTech is not keeping Casey busy she is innovating with the districts 23 STEM schools, working to empower and engage students in real world collaboration and problem solving.
Casey is an experienced Technology Facilitator with a history of working in the education management industry with experience in E-Learning, K-12 Education, Classroom Management, Lesson Planning, and Educational Technology. She received her Masters Degree focused in Curriculum and Instruction, Technology Leadership from Concordia University, Portland.
