Why did you enter the 3M Young Scientist Challenge?

The Young Scientist Challenge was a stepping stone to start my career as a scientist, at a very young age! I’ve always loved STEM and helping people, so this contest was the perfect opportunity to put them together. Moreover, working side-by-side with an actual scientist to make my ideas into reality is a dream come true!

What is your favorite invention of the last 100 years, and why?

My favorite invention of the last 100 years would be the Internet because it’s super quick to use and has helped us so much, especially in COVID-19 to keep learning and doing in these difficult times. The Internet has also made it possible to connect with others & express thoughts easily, and definitely changed the face of technology.

An artificial intelligence researcher for NASA, developing smart machines to help the space agency learn more about our galaxy and beyond!
