Margaux Mitera. Collaboration is key to taking ideas further, and having the right tools can make all the difference. That’s certainly what Margaux Mitera believes. As senior product development engineer in 3M’s Stationery and Office Supplies Division, her work focuses on developing new-to-the-world Post-it® Note products designed to help consumers turn their thoughts into actions and ideas into reality. Previously, Mitera worked as a process development engineer in 3M’s Corporate Research Process Lab, where she developed new UV light-curing process technologies to enable innovative products across 3M ranging from adhesives and coatings to abrasives.
Margaux regularly shares her love for science with those around her. At 3M, she is a member of the 3M Tech Form and 3M TECH (Technical teams Encouraging Career Horizons), a program in which she presents to middle- and high-school students on topics around continuing education. In addition to being recognized at 3M for her work with numerous awards for technical excellence and innovation, she has three patents pending.
Margaux graduated from the University of Michigan in 2008 with a BS in Chemical Engineering, focusing on polymers.
